The Gili Islands are located off the northwest coast of Lombok, Indonesia and comprise of three coral-fringed atolls, Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan, all surrounded by white sand beaches, crystal clear water and some of the best scuba diving and dive centers in Indonesia.

The Gili Islands are the most westerly islands that lie within the Wallace Region, where the planet's richest and most diverse marine species live.

Gili Trawangan is the largest and most developed of the islands, offering a large range of accommodation from budget rooms to luxury villas; many first class restaurants and beach-side bars, and is known for its vibrant nightlife. Gili Trawangan is large enough that if quiet relaxation is what you want, absolute solitude can be found. Sunsets over Bali's Agung volcano and sunrises over Lombok's Mount Rinjani are simply spectacular.
