Technical Diving International (TDI) was formed in 1994 by some of diving's most experienced instructors to bring technical applications of diving to a wider audience. TDI's training materials have become known as the industry's best and most professional resources. Most importantly, TDI has the best safety record of all training agencies. TDI has become the largest international specialized dive agency. We offer a variety of TDI Nitrox, Trimix, Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) and Service courses.

TDI Nitrox Diver

IDR 2,800,000 /1.5 days / 2 dives, or

IDR 1,700,000 / 0.5 days (dry course)

This is the entry level course for divers who wish to use enriched air nitrox whilst diving. Throughout the course you will learn about equipment considerations, cylinder labelling, possible hazards, analyzing gases and more.  Being an enriched air diver will allow you to increase your no stop (no decompression) dive time by using blends of up to 40% oxygen.

Course Prerequisites

  • Minimum Open Water Diver certification or equivalent

  • Aged 18 years, 15 with parental consent

TDI Sidemount Diver

IDR 4,100,000 / 2 days / 3 dives

The TDI Sidemount Diver course is for divers who want to become more skilled and proficient with different equipment configurations.  Students learn how to safely use side mounted primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back mounted method.  This is a great course by itself, but it can also be taught in conjunction with other TDI open circuit specialties.

During the course, students will learn specific techniques required for side-mounted cylinders, as well as the specific procedures and skills necessary for this particular set up including equipment considerations, gas management, attaching cylinders, trim and buoyancy, deployment of a surface marker and the different water entries.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Minimum Open Water Diver certification or equivalent

  • Aged 18 years or over

TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver

IDR 4,900,000 / 3 days / 4 dives + Equipment rental & GAS

The objective of the TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver course is to teach the diver the benefits, hazards and safe procedures for using enriched air up to 100% oxygen.  This is a great course for divers wanting to extend their bottom times at shallower depths.  There is the option to complete the course on a twin tank or side mount configuration.  Advanced Nitrox is often taught in conjunction with the TDC Decompression Procedures course.

During the course students will learn equipment requirements, dive planning, oxygen tracking and blending methods and more.

When successfully completed, divers can use blends of oxygen from 40 to 100% for optimal mixes to a maximum depth of 40m.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Nitrox diver certification

  • Aged 18 years, 15 with parental consent

  • Proof of minimum 25 logged open water dives

TDI Decompression Procedures Diver

IDR 6,000,000 / 3 days / 4 dives + Equipment rental & GAS

This course is the first step beyond normal recreational limits.  Decompression Procedures will teach the student to plan staged decompression dives with a maximum depth of 45m.

Throughout the course divers will learn equipment configuration and requirements, decompression techniques, decompression breathing gases, gas management, contingency planning and problem solving procedures.

Upon successful completion, divers will be certified to plan and engage in decompression diving activities, not exceeding the max depth of 45m.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Advanced diver, Nitrox diver for nitrox option

  • Aged 18 years or over

  • Proof of minimum 25 logged open water dives

Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Combo

IDR 9,650,000 / 5 days / 6 dives + Equipment rental & GAS

The combined TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures course is the perfect foundation for technical diving.  It combines the theory from both the courses to allow divers to extend their bottom time while planning staged decompression dives.

When successfully completed, divers can use blends of oxygen from 40 to 100% to accelerate their deco while planning and engaging in decompression diving activities, not exceeding the max depth of 45m.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Nitrox Diver

  • Aged 18 years or over

  • Proof of minimum 25 logged open water dives

TDI Extended Range Diver

IDR 9,650,000 / 5 days / 4 dives + Equipment rental & GAS

The TDI Extended Range course teaches divers proper techniques for using compressed air as a breathing gas with a maximum depth of 55m.  This is an extremely useful course to teach divers how to access depths deeper than 40m without access to helium.

During the course a variety of topics and skills would be covered, including equipment requirements and configuration, decompression options, use and deployment of surface markers, buddy rescue and narcosis checks and management.

Upon successful completion of the course,  divers will be certified to plan and execute decompression dives using enriched air nitrox blends up to 100% to a maximum depth of 55m.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Diver

  • Aged 18 years or over

  • Proof of minimum 100 logged open water dives, 25 below 30m

Closed Circuit Rebreather Introduction

IDR 2,100,000 / 1 day / 1 dive

Ever wanted to try diving on a rebreather? Want to see what it's like to dive with no bubbles?

Our one day introduction to the JJ-CCR rebreather diving starts with morning theory, teaching you basic fundamentals of rebreather diving and the philosophy behind it. We then jump in the pool, to run through the gear and full set-up, making sure you're comfortable. The day culminates in a 1-2-1 afternoon dive (no deeper than 9m) at one of the pristine Gili Island dive sites.

This is the perfect way to try the experience, seeing if it's a route you want to dive into deeper.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Minimum Open Water Diver certification or equivalent

  • Aged 18 years or over

TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather Air Diluent Diver Certification

IDR 24,900,000 / 6 days / 7 dives + Equipment rental, Gas & Sofnolime

This TDI course is specific to the JJ-CCR unit.  It is the first step to closed circuit rebreather diving (CCR Diving) and an amazing quiet diving experience with no bubbles.  This course uses the most up to date technology CCR’s to maximize your Nitrox supply and provide the diver with the optimum breathing gas for the required depth by maintaining a constant partial pressure of oxygen (PPO2).

Throughout the course, divers will learn the setup and maintenance of the unit, loop volume management, calibration of electronics, emergency procedures, buoyancy control and CNS tracking whilst conducting a minimum of seven dives to a maximum depth of 30m.

Upon successful completion, divers can go to a maximum depth of 30m using air diluent.  Certification depends on the unit/electronics used during training.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Nitrox Diver

  • Aged 18 years or over

  • Proof of minimum 20 logged dives

TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather Air Diluent Decompression Diver Course

IDR 25,200,000 / 6 days / 7 dives + Equipment rental, Gas & Sofnolime

The TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Decompression Procedures Diver Course is designed specifically for the JJ-CCR unit.  It is the second certification level for divers wishing to use a closed circuit rebreather for air diving.

During the course, students will learn the benefits as well as the hazards for CCR diving.  In addition to learning proper procedures, divers will also develop their CCR diving skills, go over the setup and maintenance of the unit, loop volume management, calibration of electronics, emergency procedures, buoyancy control and CNS tracking.

Upon successful completion, divers can go to a maximum depth of 45m using air diluent for formal decompression diving.  Certification depends on the unit/electronics used during training.
