Ocean Quest Coral Propagation Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Ever wanted to do more than admire coral reefs? This is your chance to get involved.

Ocean Quest Global is a marine research organisation founded by Dr. Anuar Abdullah (PhD) in 2010. Ocean Quest Global has pioneered coral conservation methods, using the world’s most organic and natural techniques to replant coral and save the ocean’s reefs.

We’ve been partnered with Ocean Quest Global since 2018 and now have installed 8 coral nurseries and plant over 1,500 coral fragments a year!

Our Coral Propagation 3-day Course is a hands-on, in-water training experience that teaches a natural approach to reef restoration – making this method simple, successful, and scalable.

You don’t need a degree in marine biology or years of conservation experience. The course is designed for anyone with no prior marine science knowledge, giving you the basic skills and a great introduction to the world of marine conservation.

Already a Divemaster or above? As an Instructor Trainer Centre, we can take your training to the next level, giving you the knowledge and skills to set up and run your own coral restoration project.
