Course Description:

Have you ever been scuba diving and asked yourself, “What was that?” The PADI Project AWARE Fish Identification Speciality course provides you with the fish identification basics so that next time, you know the answer.

During two dives you gain hands-on experience in looking for and identifying the fascinating fish you see underwater. You’ll learn:

How to identify characteristics of local fish and families and species
Fish survey techniques and strategies
How to practice fish identification dive planning, organization and procedures

Prerequisites

Be at least 10 years old
Certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, or equivalent from agencies recognized by PADI

With the PADI Project Aware Fish Identification Course you will gain hands-on experience in looking for and identifying the fascinating fish you see underwater

During your course you will learn more about the different species of turtles living around Gili Trawangan

Learn how to identify characteristics of local fish and families and species

Seahorses can be find everywhere on Gili Islands and Lombok. You just need a good scouting eye
