Course Description:

First aid and CPR are good skills for everyone, not just scuba divers. You will need this certificate before starting the PADI Rescue Diver course or any of the professional diver courses. The Emergency First Response (EFR) course teaches you medical emergency response skills and prepares you for assisting in any medical emergency.

What you learn in the EFR course:

BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breaths
Treatment for shock
Spinal injury management
Use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risks
Basic first aid and first aid kit considerations

These skills can be used in any area or environment. Most work organizations will accept this as a recognized first aid certificate.

Prerequisites

If you already hold a First AID & CPR training certificate issued within the last 2 years, then you will not need to complete the Emergency First Responder (EFR) training. However, we do recommend a refresher
